It has only been a month and the washer is working very well. Many other reviews mentioned it does vibrate a bit during drying which is true. I purchased special vibration damping pads and made sure that the dryer has a solid inch of clearance from other objects. That seems to fix the vibration issue. it also helps that my building has concrete floors so the vibrtion does not travel thought the structure.

Small but mighty

I have only had the machine for a month. I live in a condo and needed to replaced a top loaded machine. I could not find another small top load machine. This is the substitute. I miss being able to put clothes in after starting the machine. However, in return I get a quieter machine and cleaner clothes. My white clothes are whiter and the towel are nearly dry at the end of the cycle. Saving valuable dry time. Very Expensive. I am saving for the matching dryer now. All in all happy with the performance (so far).

You have to make sure to do smaller loads but the washer works really, Can fit a full size bed sheet set plus pillowcases in one load. gets a bit noisy but i fixed that. we love it!

During the second use of this washing machine, it leaked from somewhere on the machine and I think it may have been the front door. I want to switch over laundry from was he to dryer and saw that it leaked. Don't know why. But want to have it serviced before running again

Just intsalled it and completed the first 2 wash loads. It seems to do a very good job getting clothes clean. Instructions and the user menu on the washer are straightforward and easy to navigate. I had the first load set on max spin. The washer is on the second floor (wood floor), and it felt like the whole house was vibrating. I think this washer needs to sit on a concrete floor??

Very happy with this purchase. My apt had the opportunity to install a washer and ventless dryer. The only option I could get was a compact size so I went with this GE. I live alone so it's perfect size for me. It has tons of features and it's very quite when it runs. I also purchased a raiser it also acts like a pan (water catcher) in case it leaks. I also connected it to Wi-Fi so I get alerts about the machine. If you are looking for a compact size this is perfect.

When we got our machine of course we did a test run, it was so quiet I had to ask if it was running. Then we did the ultimate test; a load of laundry. Has great cleaning options including Steam. For a 24" washer it sure can hold a lot of clothes compared to the Whirlpool pre-stacked units. I wipe the door seal down after every washing and keep the door open at least hours, and have zero mold issues

Too much vibration !

Was originally incorrectly installed on pedestal by PC Richards - excessive vibration in spin cycle - repaired by GE technician but still vibrates too much in spin cycle. Was advised by GE technician that the loading is critical and mixed types of clothes will result in vibrations. Carefully choosing the mixtures of clothes reduces the vibration to a barely acceptable level. In addition, the GE technician detected a defective water level sensor on this new machine which will require an additional service call when parts are available. Only reason I am keeping this machine and its matching dryer is the fact they fit in my limited space.
